A Good Friday Poker Face

Some of the Melbourne boys and girls went on a poker run on Good Friday with about 900 others.

We tracked up through some of the areas outside Melbourne recently affected by wild fires. It was heart wrenching riding. Seeing first hand the devastation, power and beauty of nature is surreal ... truly the wild fires knew no logic. One house burns while the one beside it lives. One side of the road is black, the other green. However, out of devastation comes new life. Already grass is returning to the fields and out of the blackened trunks, green shoots appear. The symbolism of this did not escape any of us on Good Friday.
