Thank You From GSCMC South Wales
GSCMC South Wales Member Baz's funeral took place on Tues 29 May, in Swansea, supported by a large number of clubs and individual bikers from the South Wales area and significantly further. |
What can we say - on behalf of us all in God's Squad and Baz's family, our deepest gratitude to so many brothers and sisters who shared the road with us for Baz's funeral. Over the years we have we have stood alongside our mates in other clubs as you have grieved so many times; this time, thank you for standing with us, for riding with us. Huge thanks to all who mucked in both on the day of the funeral and in the days leading up to it in so many practical ways - we are truly humbled. For Baz's family, the road looks like a hard one ahead at the moment - but together we continue to make a difference for those we love and for those we share the road with and those we pick up along the way - that's the way Baz lived, if you knew him, that's why you knew him and that's why he wore our patch - don't let that fire go out folks. Deepest love and respect on behalf of us all. Cheers and God bless.

Baz's family and God's Squad CMC South Wales warmly invite friends of Barry's to join with us as we celebrate his life and say goodbye. Please find the details below.
The funeral will take place on Tuesday 29 May at 2.30pm Llanelli Crematorium .
For those wanting to travel with the cortege, this will gather from midday at Zac's Place, George Street, Swansea, SA1 4HH and be leaving at approximately 2pm. There will be a short service at Zac's Place first for family and those closest to Baz.
The invitation to return to Zac's Place after the service is extended to all.
Floral tributes may be sent to Zac's Place at the above address for arrival on Mon afternoon or Tues prior to noon, however the family would encourage gifts in Baz's memory to Zac's Place as an alternative. Messages can also be left in the website guestbook.

Doc's Crash
On the way to the 2011 Australian National Run Doc was unfortunate enough to become separated from his bike at 100 KMH. He went away with a smashed up bike, a broken collar bone and a few scrapes. - All healed up now he is back at it...
Gotta say though - that Brownie and I had stopped by the road side earlier for a slash - and had been hot footing it to catch up to the main group - to come over the hill and see a bike bouncing down the road and a crumpled figure lying in the middle of the road sent my heart plummeting to the floor...
