Interest in seeing the documentary film 'Smithy - Something In Every Hue, which tell the story of John Smith & God's Squad, is gathering momentum. In this short candid clip, Bono and The Edge throw their weight behind the project.

Scandinavian Conversations

A conversation between Isak and Sean covering some of what it means to be in God's Squad CMC and how it's understood among our mates both within the church community and out on the road. (The audio gaps I assume are edited out for music copyright reason at a guess). Filmed originally for a Swedish language programme in Scandinavia, presented by Isak at the time, in 2009 in Finland during the club's Euro Run.

Here's a couple of links to two recent media features about God's Squad.

The first is from an Australian magazine called Alive and God's Squad Sydney Chapter features in an article on pages 16-19 of the March 2010 edition and is viewable online HERE

The second is a Swedish language faith based programme, Himlaliv, broadcast in Finland features the club's 2009 Euro Run with contributions from various European chapters and is hosted by Isak the club's Finnish President. You can view it for the next few weeks HERE

National Press Club lunch televised live on ABC TV nationally - “Draconian and undemocratic: Why Bikie laws won’t work”, Wednesday 05, August 2009 at 12.30pm.
Outspoken critic, group spokesperson and club founder discuss. Participants include; Professor Paul Wilson, is the Professor of Criminology at Bond University and an outspoken critic of these new laws which he sees as selective, dangerous and ineffective. Ferret is the spokesperson for the United Motorcycle Council NSW. UMCNSW is a coalition of 18 motorcycle clubs and aims to provide clubs and individuals with an avenue for dispute resolution. Our own Founder and International President, Rev Dr John (Bullfrog) Smith with his wealth of experience in both club circles and on matters of human rights.
