Berny
Former GSCMC Melbourne Member rocked into town last Friday night. We had a top night out on the town, then he crashed at my house. My only question . . . are associates really meant to do wheel stands past members at 2am in the morning?

Sunday Sermon - Coincidence?
The telephone goes; it's that mate that's been on your mind all day. For some reason you take the second left, not the first and you find a stranger needing help. You feel like giving up and moving on and a reminder stares you in the face to hang in there, keep going and not give up.
Telepathy? Good fortune? A Lucky day? or just Coincidence? In his book 'Wishful Thinking', the writer Frederick Beuchner writes of the word, 'coincidence':
"I believe that people laugh at coincidence as a way of relegating it to the realm of the absurd and of therefore not having to take seriously the possibility that there is a lot more going on in our lives than we either know or care to know. Who can say what is going on, but I suspect that a part of it is that every once and so often we hear a whisper from the wings that goes something like this: You've turned up in the right place at the right time. You're doing fine. Don't ever think that you've been forgotten."

Glen on a Monday night
Rocked over to Melbourne Associates Glen's last night to photograph his chopper in progress.
With Black Hawk helicopters doing circuits overhead in between the quiet of the city edge we snapped off a few pics, ate apple pie and chilled - hence dressing gown!
Glen loves building. He has helped out with a ton of bikes for the Melbourne Chapter and is always ready to do some wrenching for anyone who swings by.
His shovel came clapped out with a blown gear box.
Now - 93", big lifter cam, hi compression pistons, 50mm SU will power this baby roadside.
Hope to see it on the road in the next few months!
Glen's bike 'roughed' together
10 $ on ebay and 2 days of work later - one custom calliper
Carl's means 'Go Fast'
FAT
The workshop inside. Shovel parked beside daily and Lincoln.
The workshop outside
(Couldn't help it!! - my ride!)

Tas Rally 09. The best rally on the Tasmanian biker calendar is back after a 2 year hiatus.
To our amazement the haunting sounds of the bagpipes wafted over the rally site. No more Oz rock music or the sounds of motorcycles burning out, now its the highland anthems of our scottish heritage.
Bagpiper with the ubiquitous CT 110 and sidecar in the background. A sight seen everyday for sure.
Q and Dave Kemp at the rally bike show
Sidecar. Chris Brooks and Peter Jones (Matchless won best pre-77 at the rally Bike Show)
